It’s amazing how much there is to learn and experience in this gift of life that we have been given. As a lifelong learner, I’m always seeking out new opportunities to grow and challenge myself. This year, my goal is to step out of my comfort zone and try new things like creating reels for Instagram, writing more blog posts, and learning more about our culture by visiting museums such as the African American Museum in DA, Maryland and other venues.
I’ve also committed to continuing my daily walks on the beach, which provide me with inspiration and a deep connection with the universe. I’m working on becoming a better listener, both to my grown daughters and to the world around me. I’m discovering that the more I listen, the more I learn, and the more connected I feel to the people and world around me.
One of my passions is helping retired women find their purpose, fulfillment, and meaning in their retirement. That’s why I’m creating a conference to provide support and encouragement for living the best life possible in retirement. My message is “refire don’t retire,” and I’m excited to share my insights and experiences with others who are looking to create a fulfilling retirement for themselves.
As I journey through life, I’m constantly reminded of how much I still have to learn and experience. But that’s what makes this journey so exciting and fulfilling. I’m grateful for each new day and each new opportunity to grow, learn, and make a difference in the world. I know that there’s still so much more ahead of me, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
